Jack Pestaner
Chief Executive Officer
 

Jack Pestaner joined Excella Communications in 2008 from Accuratus Consulting. Jack was the principal at Accuratus where he specialized in major network engineering projects, cost reduction initiatives, billing dispute resolution, and regulatory activities for CLECs. Excella Communications was a major customer of Jack’s over a four year period.

Previously, Jack was the Vice President of Engineering for Integra Telecom, a CLEC headquartered in Portland, OR, where he was responsible for building out the network in six western states. He began his 18 year career in telecommunications as General Manager of a business shared tenant provider which grew into Integra Telecom. Jack holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Oregon State University.
   
   
 

Jason Koenders
Chief Operating Officer
 

Jason Koenders joined Excella Communications in 2008 from Integra Telecom. Jason has over 16 years in telecommunications with over nine years in managerial and executive leadership roles, most recently as Vice President of Engineering for Integra Telecom.

Previously, Jason was Vice President of Washington Operations for Integra Telecom where he was responsible for Sales, Operations, Customer Care, and financial management. In these executive leadership roles for Integra Telecom Jason was key in the integration of two major acquisitions by Integra Telecom, Electric Lightwave and Eschelon Telecom. Jason has previously worked for PTI who was acquired in his tenure by CenturyTel, and prior to that served in the United States Army. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
   
   
 

Jason McLemore
Chief Technology Officer
 

Jason McLemore joined Excella Communications in 2001 where he has been principally responsible for building the facilities-based network that is in place today. Prior to joining Excella Communications Jason was an entrepreneur with two successful start-ups, Fonebuzz and The Moving Billboard Company, both headquartered in Dallas, TX.

Previously, Jason worked in Network Engineering with Documedix, a medical industry software company where he was responsible for internal IT infrastructure. Jason has over 10 years in the telecom industry. Jason received his Microsoft Certified System Engineering certification from Southern Methodist University (SMU).
